Describe the Problem
More controls should be provided to GMs to block players so they can't do things to their own tokens without going through framework or macro functions.
The feature needs to play nice with token editor locking.
Disabling the right click context menu blocks players from
- changing states, size, etc
- creating macros on any panel or token
- state changes (some mechanics are game impacting eg. advantage/dis, hidden, etc)
- forces players to only use framework or GM provided macros .
There are several requests for a feature like this, #1762 , #1909 , #2002
The Solution you'd like
An option like the Lock Token Editor check box where the GM can enable / disable the feature if / when they want to allow more player managed token options.
Alternatives that you've considered.
There is no way to stop players from changing token size, rotation, flip state, or any other option within the right click context menu.
Anything created to remediate right click context menu token modification can only be reactive, AFTER the player made the change.
Additional Context
No response
