Not sure if this is intended or not, but the plugin doesn't seem to work with UE 5.6. No errors, but after installing, if I right click a file I don't get the 'check out' options or anything to lock files. (Yes, we have git lfs support added in).
I have the revision control settings set to use the Git 2 LFS plugin.
