getReplyFromConfig is no longer exposed in the plugin-sdk

I'm unsure where this started, I'm on 2026.3.13

Every few minutes this error is recorded:

After investigating the openclaw codebase, this function was intentionally removed from the sdk.

The function loadGetReplyFromConfig in index.js needs to be refactored to use the new smaller plugin-sdk.

I gave it a this update a try and I get the error:

channel exited: plugin-sdk: dispatchReplyFromConfigWithSettledDispatcher not found in /home/linuxbrew/.linuxbrew/lib/node_modules/openclaw/dist/plugin-sdk/index.js

Checking that folder, on my install ( 2026.3.23-2 (7ffe7e4)) I do not find any reference to that function.

Looking in the current repo the plugin-sdk looks very different from what is installed with the current distribution.

It seems that OpenClaw changes its pispatcher in every version, so it might be necessary to implement version tracking and adaptation.

Fortunately, starting from version 3.22, OpenClaw has a more standardized channelRuntime.reply, and I’ve already adapted the plugin to this API.
