Hi everyone,
I am setting up a ZeDMD using the official ESP-ZEDMD-S3 SHIELD (ESP32 S3 N16R8).
I have three P3 LED panels (64x32 pixels, model P3-6432-2121-16S-D1.0, chipset FM6124, 1/16 Scan). Since chaining three panels creates a total resolution of 192x32, I have a specific question about the mapping.
Is it possible to use all three panels but only "activate" the pixels to form a standard 128x32 DMD area? My idea is to have the image centered like this:
Panel 1: only the right 32 pixels (half panel).
Panel 2: all 64 pixels (full panel).
Panel 3: only the left 32 pixels (half panel).
Does the current firmware allow for this kind of "virtual crop" or horizontal offset?
Also, I’d like to ask if there are any plans to natively support a 3-panel configuration (192x32) in the future. These P3 panels are becoming quite popular for pinball builds, and having native support for this layout would be a great feature.
Thank you for your help!
