The future of parking places and toilets in the overturemaps data?

I just visited this rest area in Norway few days ago and for the fun I compared the data in openstreetmaps:

and overture:

Overture does know the streets and the buildings properly but the information regarding the toilet and the parking place were stripped away and were not added into the places dataset which I queried locally:

Is there any intention to add these in later versions? The geoparquet format is absolutely fantastic compared to the pbf and thus I would really want to use overture instead for most things.

Thanks for sharing this example @onnimonni. I'm so happy to hear that you enjoy working with our GeoParquet files. And you are not the first person to ask for toilet data in Overture! We'll definitely keep this in mind as we explore new and expanded data offerings.

OpenStreetMap has parking places and toilets - among many other POIs. Access them with one of the many downloading tools and look e.g. at the "OpenStreetMap Data in Layered GIS Format".
