Functionality

Sorry for the very very low effort mock-up, it's just to share the idea.

The idea would be to add a search button, on top of the other side buttons. By clicking on it, a search bar would appear next to it, with suggestion based on the user's input.

By default, user could search for Trainruns and Nodes at the same time, or decide to filter one of each.

We could also think on searching notes.

I stole the search bar + suggestion feature on the "Find component" feature of SBB design system:

And finally, when user clicks on a result, it closes the search page, selects the associated element, and center the view on it.

Filtering

Filtering should not be part of the quick‑search fields.

Open questions:

• Should filtering hide the selected node or hide all other nodes? This needs further definition.
