Galaxy S25 Ultra (android 16) bluetooth pairing issues

I just updated my flipper zero to momentum 12 and i cannot get it to pair over bluetooth with my phone. I have done all recommended clears from the FAQ and reinstalled firmware (both from a downloaded ZIP file and the web updater) with no success. I keep having the issue where the flipper shows up in the app, I'll hit pair, and then the code flashes on the screen of the flipper and goes away with an immediate response on my phone that says pairing failed/wrong passcode. I have also deleted and reinstalled the app on my phone and restarted my phone multiple times.

you must forget in all 3 places mentioned by the faq, all 3, before trying again. if you clear 1 or 2 then try pairing then clear the 3rd, it will not work. you must clear all 3 at once.

I had cleared all data from the app, from my phones bluetooth connections, and from the flipper itself all together and still had issues. Have also tried clearing the bluetooth cache data along with reinstalling the app, and hitting unpair all devices on the flipper before trying again.

are you using a custom name on flipper?

Yes, name on my flipper is Power. Do I need to clear the custom name?

please try without custom name. it should work with in most cases, but samsung fucking the most basic of things up is quite plausible.

How do you mean? Only problem i have is the bluetooth connectivity to my galaxy for flipper app pairing. I can use the bluetooth to control my phone, all the other apps work, and can transfer files on and off the card fine. Even doing everything Willy says, what the FAQ says, no connectivity only with the app.

I mean, do you know if it's broken in any way. Looks like it isn't. Do you have access to another phone (friend, maybe?) that you can convince to install the app to test? Different brand preferable

I did try an an old iPhone I have and it hooked up no problem. Its only with my galaxy i have the issue

Assuming that the devs still want to diagnose the issue, might a log of the bluetooth connection be useful? I don't use cell phones anymore, but I from a search, it looks like you need to use ADB to access it, which might be a little advanced
