Model Implementation Overview documents contain the following guidance on job run times and wallclock directives:
Must be done before starting the 30 day test… Rules:
0-2 minutes = minimum 10 minute wall clock
3-10 minutes = minimum 15 minute wall clock
11-15 minutes = minimum 25 minute wall lock
16-20 minutes = minimum 30 minute wall clock
21+ minutes = minimum… runtime * 1.25 rounded up to the nearest 5 min

The following job(s) will need to have their PBS walltime directive adjusted to meet the above criteria:
- ecf/scripts/post/det/jrrfs_det_post_master.ecf
Some forecast hours associated with this template ecf file are currently requiring +11 minutes to complete.
Thus the recommendation is to adjust the walltime directive to 25 minutes.
