MeshInspector software detected 16 sub-components in the model (comprising a dozen or so teeth plus one jawbone), but it keeps failing to repair and merge these sub-modules. How can I fix this?

Furthermore, this problem only applies to this specific model; other similar models can be merged successfully.

Yes, following your instructions, it's possible to merge these 16 modules into one model, which is the same as my goal.

However, using def unite_large_components(mesh : mm.Mesh, minAreaRatio : float ): doesn't currently achieve this effect for this model.

But other models with similar issues can be merged normally. It's only this model that's not merging, so I don't know which parameter needs adjustment that might affect merging large modules.
