RFC: Verified knowledge surfacing via cryptographic provenance #1138

@tomjwxf

Description

@tomjwxf

Problem

SurfSense surfaces knowledge from personal data. When AI agents query and synthesize personal knowledge, users need cryptographic evidence of what was accessed, what policy governed the query, and that the results haven't been tampered with. This is especially important for privacy-sensitive personal data.

Proposal

Integrate the Acta Verifier to provide cryptographic provenance for knowledge surfacing results. Each query result would include a verification receipt proving its source and integrity.
