Interestingly, creating biosphere flows is not yet supported in the AB. It is definitely something we should support in the future. For now, I would recommend to do this via brightway, here a starting point: https://github.com/brightway-lca/brightway2/blob/master/notebooks/Getting%20Started%20with%20Brightway2.ipynb |

Hi!
I am trying to create a new biosphere flow in the biosphere 3 database and then connect it myself to impact indicators. When I want to create a new activity in the Ecoinvent database, I can just right click on the list of activities and select "new activity" from the menu that appears when the "read-only" mode is unchecked. However, even if the "read-only" mode is unchecked for the biosphere database, it is not possible to right click and create a new biosphere flow in the same way. I'm quite new to using AB, but I have looked through all the available tutorials online, browsed through this discussion forum and also asked other PhD students at my division that are using AB and no one seems to have had to do this before.
So therefore I am asking here! Does anyone know how I can create a new biosphere flow in AB? Do I have to use Brightway or can I do it through AB?
