Did you install the plugin for ETS2/ATS?
If so, you have to start Local Radio before you start the game. Sometimes that can be the reason too.

I tried what you said, and no, it didn't work.

The overlays don't show up when listening for a long time.

I noticed that when alt+tabbing sometimes it might stop working because the thing it tries to draw to is no longer there. Admittedly all this DirectX stuff is magic and I don't understand half of it, so without a good way to reproduce it there's little I can do I'm afraid.
