GSoC 2026 Proposal Introduction: Lucas Amaral Evangelista

Hello, I am Lucas Amaral Evangelista (@lucasamarale), a software developer and GSoC 2026 applicant. I have submitted a proposal for the BHV project under the Alaska organization.

Proposal summary: I am proposing to build BHV from the ground up as a minimal, single-command deployable Python/Flask application with SQLite storage, role-based access (patient and admin), optional GitHub private repository integration per user, and a fuzzy logic color-emotion analysis research module. The goal is a Beehive-2.0 that community health clinics can install and run with zero friction.

I would love to receive feedback from the mentors on my proposal, particularly regarding:

• The preferred tech stack (Flask vs FastAPI, SQLite vs PostgreSQL)
• • The scope of the fuzzy logic color-emotion module for GSoC
• • Any existing design decisions or constraints I should be aware of
