We performed a detailed audit of the GradeMaster 2.0 codebase after implementing the dynamic grading systems (BilimClass, Kundelik, GPA 4.0, and Year + Exam modes) and the ASOM monitoring cards. Below is a breakdown of code cleanliness, styling unifications, and UX metrics.
The application adheres strictly to the Feature-Sliced Design (FSD) architecture.
- Shared UI public API: All core shared components (
Card,Input,ProgressBar,DigitalNumpad,EmptyState, andScenarioCard) are cleanly exported from src/shared/ui/index.ts. This completely eliminates deep imports and preserves strict layer boundaries. - Component decoupling: Thin page shells in
src/pagescleanly compose business logic widgets fromsrc/widgets.
- Persisted Store Validation: Schema migrations in storageMigrations.ts protect store rehydration. Default fallbacks ensure that older version entries in localStorage do not cause crashes.
- Backward Compatibility: In the simplified
final(Year + Exam) mode, the calculated final grade (2.0–5.0) is scaled to a40–100range and saved into thefinalPercentdatabase field. This prevents database schema breakage and maintains full backwards compatibility with older subjects list cards.
- Dynamic Weight Normalization: The revised
calculateTotalPercentdynamically scales active weights to 100% when only some fields are entered. - Rounding Rules:
- BilimClass: Strict integer rounding on final quarterly average calculations.
- Kundelik: Mathematical rounding to the hundredths place in intermediate ratios and final percentage calculations.
- GPA: Precise mapping of standard criteria calculations to a GPA scale.
- Dynamic Visual Formatting:
- The Subjects list card automatically adapts its badge text and values: GPA displays score/letter, Year + Exam displays decimal grades, BilimClass displays integer percentages, and Kundelik displays hundredths-place percentages.
- Inputs automatically display customized background fills and borders according to the grade context (Success/Warning/Danger).
- ASOM Monitoring Module:
- The addition of the ASOM monitoring module card at the top of the Subjects page provides clear administrative insights (Quality of Knowledge, Academic Success) based on saved history records, with styled progress bars.
- Final Exam Mode Simplicity:
- When
finalmode is active, the complex SOR/FO/SOCH grids are cleanly replaced with button selectors for Yearly Grade (2–5) and Exam Grade (2–5). This maximizes touch target sizes and streamlines mobile interactions. - Disables predictor and analytics tabs dynamically to prevent empty states or console errors.
- When
The codebase is in excellent condition, fully type-safe, and highly modular. There are no linting or compilation errors, and the user interface feels premium, polished, and responsive on both mobile and desktop screen sizes.
