Roadmap for the next iterations of Idun Agent Platform
We wanted to share a clear view of what we’re focusing on for the next few iterations of the Idun Agent Platform.
Our goal is to keep improving the platform in a way that makes it more robust for teams building agents in production, while also strengthening the open source foundation of the project.
What we’re prioritizing next
P1
English by default + full internationalization review
We want the platform to feel consistent out of the box for a broader audience, and make sure the internationalization layer is reliable everywhere.
Agent detail page improvements
We plan to improve the agent detail page with:
Harden Create / View / Edit agent flows
We want to make agent creation and management much more robust, with cleaner behavior and stronger alignment with our agent template foundations.
P2
Workspace support
A better workspace model is one of the next important steps to make the platform easier to structure and scale.
Policy enforcement
We want to strengthen policy enforcement so governance and controls are more naturally embedded into the platform.
P3
Teams model
A teams concept, similar to project-level organization in cloud platforms, is planned to better structure collaboration.
RBAC
Role-based access control is a key step for making the platform more production-ready across different user types and responsibilities.
Prompt library
We plan to introduce a prompt library to make prompt reuse, organization, and collaboration easier.
P4
Open source dashboard
A first open source dashboard is planned to provide a better overall platform entry point and visibility layer.
P5
No-code builder for LangGraph / ADK
We want to explore a no-code builder experience for agent construction, especially around LangGraph and ADK-based workflows.
Additional platform updates
We also plan to update some internal routing and platform plumbing, including replacing the current streaming route with a cleaner
chat-streamapproach.Open source vs enterprise direction
Some items are part of the open source roadmap first, while others are being explored later as more enterprise-oriented capabilities. For the next iterations, our immediate focus is primarily on strengthening the open source platform core before expanding further into enterprise-only features.
Why this roadmap
These iterations are focused on a few core themes:
As always, feedback is welcome. If you’re building with Idun Agent Platform, we’d love to know which of these priorities matter most to you, and what you want us to tackle after this wave.
