lshw blocks the zimaos main service to boot correctly #385

Description

Hardware:

  • Device: Toshiba Satellite C50D-A-133 (PT10AN)
  • CPU: AMD E1-2100 APU with Radeon(TM) HD Graphics
  • GPU: Kabini [Radeon HD 8210]
  • Storage: Crucial MX500 250GB SSD
  • Network: QCA9565 / AR9565 Wireless + QCA8172 Fast Ethernet

Describe the bug: On a fresh installation of ZimaOS (v1.5.2), the system fails to reach the dashboard. The zimaos.service remains in an activating (start) state indefinitely.

Checking the service status via terminal reveals that the service is blocked by a child process: lshw -json -disable scsi -C network

Workaround found: Running sudo killall lshw manually from the terminal immediately allows the zimaos.service to transition to active (running) and the dashboard becomes accessible.

logs:
● zimaos.service - zimaos Main Service
Active: activating (start)
Main PID: 8790 (zimaos)
CGroup: /system.slice/zimaos.service
├─8790 /usr/bin/zimaos -c /etc/casaos/zimaos.conf
└─8827 lshw -json -disable scsi -C network
