Grid view does not work when presenting

Before opening an issue, please check the existing open issues to see if somebody has already reported it! If something is horribly wrong, like all videos showing up in a single column, chances are somebody already reported it. Please reply in that issue instead.

Describe what is broken
Hello! When I am using google meet with 31 other members and I present, the presentation is too large to be able to see all the members.

Expected behavior
Normally, I could use the grid view extension and it would adjust the size of the presentation to allow all the members to appear.

Additional context
The best solution would be to fix the extension to meet the update for google meet. I am unable to present and see all the members as well as when someone else presents the presentation is too large and i can only see 4 out of 31 members.

UPDATE 02/11/2021:
It turns out that Google is testing an update of Meet that disables the Grid View extension. This is why sometimes it works and sometimes not (you see the boxes in a vertical bar). If you seriously need Grid View right now, you might consider refreshing a few times the browser tab (you should end up loading the old compatible version at a certain point).
I am really sorry but I have to temporarily remove the extension from Chrome Web Store. In fact, updating Grid View would require a huge amount of work or may not be feasible at all. Please, remember that Google Meet introduced native grid view (up to 49 tiles).
