Configure calendar reminders

Currently, it seems that events in the calendar will notify me right when the event is happening.

It would be useful to have the notification 20 minutes before the event starts, so you can have the time to go there.

I move in a wheelchair, so depending on the event, 20 minutes might actually not be enough, and so for some events I might need longer, so making it configurable might actually be better...

I couldn't find anywhere to do that in the settings, and I actually searched, so if that's already possible, it might be well hidden. 🫣

It is possible to add multiple reminders to your events in the event editor:

• Tap on an event
• Tap on the field that says "No reminder" or "Add another reminder"
• Choose the reminder duration from the available options or use a custom duration
• Save event

Ah, so I have to do it for each event? No way to do that in the settings like "for every event of this type" (I.e in this calendar) always set a reminder X minutes before the event? 🤔

Having to do it for every event is going to be annoying very quickly. 😕

You can configure default reminders for all new events in app settings. Check the New events section.

Ah, ok, the setting entry is called (in French) "Durée par défaut", which translates to "Default duration" and I didn't know this would apply to the reminder, so I hadn't used it. 🤷

If you confirm that's the right entry (which should probably be renamed "default reminder duration" ? 🤔), then thank you very much, I just set it to 20 minutes for all new events now. 😊
