Avoid loss of focus after a user has insert some text into the filter #84
Description
Current Behavior
When a user opens the menu and enters some text to filter the menu will close if the mouse touches another UI element near the indicator area.
Expected Behavior
After a user begins interacting with the controls they should not lose their state because their mouse is performing accidental UI discovery.
Example
Here is an example of a user interacting with the menu to find an emoji, but then accidentally touching something else and losing the state of the widget. Afterwards, an example of how this behavior works with the power widget is shown. When the user interacts with the power widget after they expand a sub-menu the loss of focus (blur) events appear to be suppressed.
