Clarification on Vivado version for USRP X310 FPGA build (2021.1 vs newer versions)

Dear Ettus Team,
AMD/Xilinx recently confirmed that Vivado 2025.2 fully supports the Kintex-7 XC7K410T FPGA (used in USRP X310) and that the AR76780 patch is no longer required.
However, the official Generation 3 USRP Build Documentation
still requires exactly Vivado ML Enterprise 2021.1 + AR76780 patch.
My questions are:

Is Vivado 2025.2 (or any newer version) officially supported for building custom FPGA images for the USRP X310?
If not, what is the reason the build instructions have not been updated?
Do you have any planned timeline to update the documentation to support newer Vivado releases?

We would like to use the latest officially supported version for future compatibility and to avoid version-related build issues.

The build instructions are correct, and we require Vivado 2021.1 + patch. We intend to update that, but it is not a straightforward process and needs to be staffed and scheduled. You'll hear from us once it's live.

Since we need to finalise the purchase of a perpetual floating license today, could you please guide and what would you recommend we purchase the license for Vivado 2021.1 (current official requirement) or for Vivado 2025.2?
Also the old email support@ettus.com was permanently closed on 1 January 2024. All technical queries must go through NI Service Request Manager or GitHub.

No queries go through github -- only bug reports. Check with your AMD sales rep if licenses are tied to a version, I believe they are not. There is no committed roadmap to when Vivado update for UHD will be released.
