Non-mercator projection samples broken on v3.0.17

Describe the bug

There is a regression in v3.0.17. When using Esri Leaflet on that version, the non-mercator projection samples (1, 2, 3) do not work.

I'm having the same issue here.
It seems that version 3.0.16 works fine, but version 3.0.17 does not work.
