Moving Window with Flexible Space in Tabs Toolbar

Previous behavior was that the 'Flexible Space' item available in the Customize Toolbar menu could be used to move the browser window (at any time) when placed in the Tabs toolbar.

New behavior (as of FF133.0) is that this function of moving the browser window is only working when the URL-Bar is focused.

This was observed with userChrome.css on commit 4b8963c (unmodified except for --urlbar-height-setting and --tab-min-height).

This was observed on Windows11 23H2 (22631.4460) which I understand is not officially supported but I'm curious if anyone is seeing similar behavior in other environments.

I cannot test this in my environment but I have a suspicion. Would you try commenting out/deleting the navbar autohide code at the end of the file and attempting the same again?

Thanks for the quick reply! Commenting the AUTOHIDE NAVBAR block does resolve the issue, this also shows the bar all the time though. I'll keep playing around with this block to see if I can get the navbar to hide while maintaining the click-and-drag functionality. Lmk if you've got any ideas or good firefox css references / documentation that you could point me to!

I've at least been able to confirm that the issue is not related to the visibility (transform: translateY and opacity lines) of the navbar - it can't drag regardless of visibility. But it is directly linked to :focus-within , it works when in-focus and doesn't work when out of focus

I learned the basics and got many snippets from here.

I think this is caused by the tab bar and navbar being logically overlayed on top of each other in the solution I implemented. You can experiment with the z-index property or maybe try moving the navbar higher, so that it doesn't overlay the tab bar.
