I've been waiting to include proper media upload functionality in posts for a future date. My resources are currently limited and media is being stored locally on the server, as I prefer to avoid significant reliance on 3rd party tech in software while it's displayed in my portfolio.
In the mean time though, I'll take a look at adding external media rendering through urls included in posts.
