Haha, I think I just found my own answer to this same question from October 2023 on the Home Assistant Community! I think I should not be cutting the JP12/JP13 links at all. However, now that I have the stack actually "in hand", I can see that a 24 CT clamp stack actually needs to look like this: 1x expansion board /w all CT clamp references to secondary power supply If I understand this correctly, it'll give me 12 CT clamps for one phase of voltage and 12 CT clamps for the alternate phase of voltage. Please, let me know if this looks correct. |

I just got the main board and three expansion boards for a total of 24 CT clamps in the stack. I'd like to monitor two voltage phases using the VA2 hookup. I read the docs and I see that I need to sever the JP12 and JP13 pads on the bottom of the board.
However, the docs say:
But is VA2 connected through the stack? Meaning, if I cut JP12 & JP13 on every board can I supply a single VA2 to get all the voltage references for all CT4-CT6s on the whole stack? OR does the statement above mean that I need a separate VA2 power supply wired to each VA2+/VA2- connection on each board (all all VA2 supplies are independent)?
