Explore whether Macrostrat map layers can be enabled and integrated within Cesium (e.g. via ion) so they can be overlaid and consumed directly in Evo.

Problem

Geoscientists struggle to interpret stratigraphic and geological context in 3D due to fragmented tools and static maps. This leads to slow interpretation, missed insights, and reduced confidence in high impact exploration decisions. While third party geological map layers are highly valuable to our customers, consuming this data via direct API integration is not a suitable solution for Evo

By embedding Macrostrat geological map layers into Evo’s Cesium-based globe, Evo can provide interactive, time enabled 3D geological context alongside wells, seismic, lineage, and internal datasets.
