guide to use mesh2HRTF (documentation)

Hello, a few months ago I used the mesh2HRTF toolbox to simulate HRTFs. I've created a straightforward guide that summarizes my experience using the tool, including the steps I followed and some tips to avoid bugs. I believe it could be helpful for new users who want to start using this amazing tool, as a complement to the tutorials you already have. If you think it's worth , you can include it in the mesh2HRTF documentation.

Hi Ariel, I'm a little hesitant to add tutorials using mesh2hrtf-tools to the official documentation. While they can be helpfull, I think they are currently not maintained, require to follow an exact procedure, and might raise Errors in other cases (see e.g. #142). Would it be fine for you if I added a link to your project to the first page of the Mesh2HRTF wiki, where we also link to Mesh2HRTF-tools and Mesh2Scatter?

The study sounds interesting. Is there already published material on the results?

Hi Fabian , more than a tutorial, it's a guide that summarizes the steps I followed from preparing the mesh to simulating the HRTF and may shed light on how to use the tool. Yes, you can add the link of the repo to the Mesh2HRTF wiki. This experiment was part of a work that resulted from my internship at ARI last year, under the supervision of Piotr. We presented the article at the AES Europe 2024 conference in June, but the proceedings are not available yet.
