I am trying Tessa, but I can't find the output folder for the .mat files anywhere. Where should I be looking?

Hello, Andrea, By default, MATLAB should drop completed .mat files in the folder where Tessa.m or Tessa.exe are located. If not, the .mat files may be located in the Documents --> MATLAB directory. I hope that resolves the issue! Best, Chris

I've been doing some more testing with this issue, and I've found two potential sources of trouble: first, do you have the MATLAB runtime installed? This would likely default to C:\Program Files\MATLAB\MATLAB Runtime. If your runtime is not installed, you can re-download the Tessa.exe file in the main repository and try re-installing the program.

Second, I've discovered that the compiled application version of Tessa has very specific file paths that it can "see"--this is different than the version of Tessa that you would normally open in the main MATLAB application, which can manually load file paths into the active file space. For the compiled application, however, only files that are in the exact same location as your main Tessa program will be "seen" by the program. If you're launching Tessa from a Desktop shortcut, then, you'll need to have all the files you want to analyze on the Desktop; if you're launching Tessa from C:\Program Files\University of Delaware\Tessa\application\Tessa.exe, you'll need to have all the files you want to analyze in that folder.

Please let me know whether that fixes the problem, and if not, I'll keep working on it!
