@eric-wieser had plenty of good suggestions around syntactic conventions, whitespace, etc.
I did not implement them because I did not want to generate a gratuitous diff, and also, I'd love it if we could apply some automated tool
there's no official solution yet, but a variety of leanfmt projects seem to exist on github, maybe we could use one of them?
