Visited Style: float not removing underline in Firefox

In the code-example you add float: left to the icon-<span> to remove underline from it.

This is not working with (at least) recent Firefox (on Mac OS).

Issue is still present in latest Firefox (92.0) on Windows 10.

One more related issue is the width of ul element as you can see in the above screenshot.

Plus, we're using fit-content again but as a value of width this time and not as a function. This means it will expand to the equivalent of max-width but not exceed the available width, preventing overflow.

It is also not working in Firefox because it does not support the unprefixed fit-content you still need -moz- vendor prefix.

In chromium browsers on Windows (latest Chrome, Edge and Brave)
fit-content is working as expected.
But <span> is not showing at all for some reason.
